Credibility of the presenter/messenger
When someone provides you with a news or information, you must ensure that the messenger is credible and trustworthy. Is the news true? Can I believe it to be real and not fiction?

How did people know the prophet (saw) was trustworthy?
Despite being a businessman, he never cheated in his career. He also never lied and was even trusted by his enemies.
Two things to do before you believe information to be true are:
1. Credibility of the messenger
2. Confirmation of the news/information
We know the prophet (saw) did not make up the Quran because the Quran criticizes the prophet and mentions the mistakes he had made and how Allah (swt) corrected him. If the prophet made it up, he would not have mentioned his own mistakes.

Prophets (saw) biggest miracle?
That he changed an entire society! A single person impacted the world. People who used to drink, dance, bury their daughters, kill others and the likes were now amazingly peaceful people. He ended the era of Jahiliyyah.
