Shaikh Omer Farooq:
August-9th-2009

Slide: O Muslims, do you then expect that these people will accept your invitation and become believers? Whereas among them there are people who hear the Word of God, understanding it well and then perverting and tampering with it knowingly.
When they meet those who believe in Muhammad, they say, "We also believe in him." But when they meet one another in private, they say, "Have you got no sense that you disclose to them those things which Allah has revealed to you so that they might bring them as a proof against you before your Lord?
Do they really not know that Allah is fully aware of what they hide and what they disclose?

- Whenever they promise something, they break their promise. How do you expect Jews to believe in Prophet (pbuh).
- They have a history of killing their Prophet, then how can u expect them to believe in Prophet (pbuh)
- Tareef: Changing
- Us Muslims are the same, change the meaning of the Qur’an
- Cannot put your own understanding to the Qur’an
- There is no difference between Business Loan and personal Loan, but people will differentiate with their own understanding.
- Hadith: May Allah (swt) preserve those who take my words, preserve it, accept it, practice it, But Jahanam is for those who add and take away things from Qur’an
- When people change the Ayah of the Qur’an and change the meaning of the Qur’an, it is a major Sin.
- Allah (swt) knows everything (What they hide, and what they don’t)
- If we hide something from each other, or lie to each other, we might get away from it, but Allah (swt) will know. Allah (swt) has the control over our Heart
- For guidance turn to those who have the knowledge
- One of the signs of the Day of Judgment: People will turn to those, who have no knowledge, and further lead to an astray path.
- Choose a right leader, who will take you to Allah (swt).

Slide: Then there are among them some un-lettered people who have no knowledge of the Book but living with false hopes and are guided by mere conjecture and guess-work. So woe to their learned people, who write the law with their own hands and then say to the people, "This is from Allah," so that they might gain some worldly benefit. (They do not see that) this writing of their hands will bring woe to them and what they gain thereby will lead to their ruin.

- Only educated people at the time were Jews, everyone was less educated.
- Ordinary People will turn to guidance to everyone.
- Be careful when you ask anyone the question. You are living false hopes.
- Remember Allah is severe in his punishment, even though he is most kind and merciful.
- Jahanam is waiting for you. Do what you want, but Jahanam is waiting.
- Last Ayah of the Qur’an (281): Fear the day when you will come back to your lord.
- This Ayah is right after the Ayah of Interest.
- Live the life you want, do whatever you want, but finally you will come back to your Lord
- False Hope: We are the Muslims and Allah (swt) is our Lord and we will go to Jannah, because he will forgive us. Since we are part of Prophet Mohammad’s (pbuh) Ummah.
- False Hope: We do not have to go to Hell Fire, but even if we have to go to hell fire, then soon we will be out of it.
- Remember Allah (swt) has to establish the court of Justice
- Minimum Punishment of Hell Fire: Firing Shoes. A person will be given the shoes made of fire, and his Brain will be boiling.
- People who are changing the Qur’an, they should seek their place in Hell Fire.

Slide: They also say, "The fire of Hell is not going to touch us, and even if it does, it will be only for a few days". Say, "Have you obtained a promise from Allah which He would not break? Or, do you attribute to Allah things you do not know? This was their misunderstanding,
• Whatever we do we will not go to Hell fire, even if we have to go then soon we will be out of it.
• Life of this Dunya 7000 years, that mean 7 day, or only 40 days that we worshiped the cow.
• Have you made an agreement with Allah on this? Bring the proof of it.

- Allah is the Lord of Mankind. He will establish his Court of Justice. Allah (Swt) has warned many times in the Qur’an.
- Allah has appointed 19 angels on the Hell Fire. Guardian of Hell Fire.
- If you don’t prepare of the After Life, then you won’t be able to pass on the Day of Judgment.
- In order to Succeed, we need to practice the Qur’an and follow the Sunnah of Prophet (pbuh)
- As long as we are alive, we have the opportunity to turn back to Allah(swt) and repent for forgiveness

Slide: Why will not the fire of Hell touch you? Whoever earns evil and becomes engrossed in sin shall be doomed to Hell and abide therein forever. Only those people who believe and do good deeds, will be the dwellers of the Garden and live there forever.
• Now Allah is giving the ingredients of success.
• What is the meaning of Kasb?

- Believe and do Good Deeds. Both are required together.
- If we don’t know our Lord, and Prophet and Deen, how will you answer in your grave?
- Kasb: Kaaf, Seen, Ba
- Has two meaning: Earning (A person who is making his living in a Halal manner is beloved to Allah (swt)/ Good or Bad Deeds)
- Hadith: how come your hands are too hard? Break Rock. Prophet held is hand and kissed his hand, because he made his living in a Halal manner.
- The most certain thing in our life, is our DEATH.
- Your earning will help you at the time of your death, in your grave and on the day of the judgment
- Each and every one of you should see what you have prepared for yourself in the Next Life.

Slide: Remember the covenant we made with the children of Israel to this effect: worship none save Allah: be good to your parents, to your relatives, to the orphans and to the helpless; speak aright with the people: establish the Salat and pay the Zakat. But with the exception of a few, you all slid back from it and are paying no heed to it even now.

- Be good to them in the best possible way. In the best Manner. Be kind to your Muslims. Be dutiful to your parents. Always make Dua for them.
- A man asked Omer (r.a): I have taken my mother on my back and preformed Hajj (20 km). Have I fulfilled my rights towards her? Omer (r.a), not for even 1 night when she was awake for you.
- Jannah lies at the feet of your mother. A Dua of your father is never rejected.
- Allah (swt) does not delay their punishments who do not respect their parents.
- If you do not talk to your relatives, talk to them.
- Prophet said: If you put your hand on the head of an orphan, the number of hair that touch your hand, are the number of rewards you are given. You shall be like the two fingers (side-by-side) together in Jannah.
- Clear your understanding. Even if people are not Muslim, remember they are Human Beings.
- Prophet (pbuh): A Janaza passed by, Prophet (pbuh) stood up. The Janaza was of a Jew, but he was a Human Being. The respect should still be given.
- Whoever believed in Allah and the last day, should speak good, or stay silent.
- Establish means, It has to be Prayed on time. As soon as the time starts. Do not delay for any reason.

Slide: Remember, When we made another covenant with you: You shall not shed blood among yourselves nor expel one another from your homes. And you confirmed it and you are witness to it. But in spite of this, you are killing your brethren and driving them out from their homes and making unjust and aggressive alliances against one another. And when they come to you as captives, you trade on their ransoms whereas their expulsion itself was unlawful for you.

- Allah has taken a promise from the Jews, that they will not shed blood and they will not expel anyone from their homes.
- But they killed there brother, they expelled people out of their homes; they made alliances, and traded the prisoners of war.
- They are doing most of the things wrong, but where they see their benefit in the book (Tur), they will follow that. (Punishment in this Life: Humiliated and Disrespected)
- Remind yourself this: Do I believe in part of the book, and reject the other?

Slide: Are we of those who believe in part of the book and disbelieve in the other? What other punishment do such people from among you deserve except an ignominious life in this world and the most grievous doom on the Day of Resurrection? Allah is not unaware of what you are doing.

These are the people who have preferred the worldly life to the life in the Hereafter. Therefore their torment shall not be lightened nor shall help be given to them (from any quarter).

- Just to listen to their desires they are not practicing the Deen.
- Sacrifice: Fajr, they cannot sacrifice their sleep, their comfortable bed.
- Hard: It is hard on them to pray Fajr and Isha.
- Ask Allah (swt) to make it easy for it. Plan to pray Fajr. Ask your parents to wake you up.
- Prophet (pbuh) said: Whoever prays Fajr, will remain in protection of Allah (swt) throughout the day.
- Time: Do not say, you are too young to practice.
- Do not sacrifice your Akirah because of them.
- The love between Husband and Wife, is to practice the Deen and to help become closer to Allah (swt)
- As soon as you realize we are doing something wrong, stop right away
- Do not stress yourself about what others will think of you. Do not be more conscious to people then Allah (swt).
- Prophet (pbuh) said: You might sell your product by lying, but there will not be any blessing in it.
- Saving one life is like saving the entire humanity.
- Be concerned about yourself.
- O believers, enter into Islam with complete Submission.
- If something bad happens, repent to Allah (swt) right away, and then Allah (swt) will take care of us right away.
- Do not follow the footsteps of Shaytan. Do not give Excuses. Shaytan brings all these excuses into our mind. Shaytan is our open enemy.
- If we give importance to Allah (Swt), Allah (swt) will give us the importance.
